BUSINESS STARTER DAY FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

Young people aged 18 to 30 with an interest in business are invited to this session on starting your own business. The business taster day will give you an insight into the world of business where you will be giving mini presentations to Streatham businesses in a Dragon’s Den-style pitch.
The day includes:
- An introduction to business start-ups
- A business management class on what makes a business successful
- What it takes to be an entrepreneur
- Presenting a business pitch to a panel of Streatham businesspeople
Your travel expenses will be paid and lunch and refreshments will be provided. You’ll also get a toolkit and learning materials on further ‘Starting Your Own Business’ courses and you will have the opportunity to network with business owners while finding out about work experience.
You will also receive a £10 voucher as a parting gift to spend in Streatham Town Centre.
