Tai Chi at Lewisham Hospital

Cost: £7 per session or £6 for NHS/Lewisham Council Staff

A special focus on improving wellbeing, health and vitality with aspects of tai chi, qigong breathing, silk reeling, standing meditation and the 11 short form. Chen-style tai chi is also an excellent form of self-defence because of its basis in the ‘yin yang’ theory. Classes are held in the gym on the first floor of the Therapy Building and further instruction on any of the exercises can be arranged on a one-to-one basis on request.
