Vote Art is a major billboard campaign launched across England to urge people to vote on artwork and celebrate the creativity of the nation by entering a polling booth. Bob & Roberta Smith, Jeremy Deller, Janette Parris and Fatima Begum have each created a brand new artwork inspired by the word ‘VOTE’ for display on billboards across England. Each billboard site will be close to galleries, museums or cultural venues and 10,000 postcards of the artworks will be printed. The exhibition at Peckham Platform will capture the spirit of this project by displaying the original works alongside highlights of the submissions to the nationwide competition for young artists. The winner will be announced on 7th May 2015.
