In this new performance, Jenna Bliss draws on the history of the Lincoln Recovery Centre in the South Bronx, New York. The centre was initiated in 1970 when the Young Lords, community health workers from the Health Revolutionary Unity Movement and local addicts occupied Lincoln Hospital and announced a drug detox program.
